Job summary

Perry Hall Multi-Academy Trust invites applications for an experienced Assistant Headteacher. You will play a major role under the Headteacher/Executive Team in formulating aims, establishing policies and managing staff to raise teaching and learning outcomes across Trust schools.

You will lead quality improvement, use data to drive change, and motivate staff to build high-performing teams. Commitment to safeguarding and Trust ethos is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality improvement with sustained teaching/learning gains.
• Ability to gather, analyse and interpret information to drive change.
• Passionate about children’s success and outcomes.
• Ability to motivate staff and build high-performing Trust teams.
• Knowledge of educational developments and best practice; strong communication skills.
• Outstanding practitioner able to support and improve teaching and learning.
• Experience leading EYFS and KS1; willingness to lead Early Reading.

Responsibilities

• Formulating the aims and objectives of the school.
• Establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved.
• Managing staff and resources to that end.
• Monitoring progress towards their achievement.
• Undertake professional duties as delegated by Head/Executive Team.
• Uphold the vision, values and ethos of the Trust.
