Job summary

Foundry Lane Primary School is seeking an inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join the Senior Leadership Team. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across the primary age range and support colleagues through coaching, data-informed improvement, and high standards of teaching and behaviour.

You will work with the Headteacher and SLT on safeguarding, school improvement, and key priorities, while maintaining your own teaching commitment where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a school setting.
• Ability to analyse pupil data to drive improvement.
• Experience coaching colleagues and evaluating teaching quality.
• Strong understanding of curriculum progression and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the primary age range.
• Support and develop colleagues through coaching and professional dialogue.
