Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) is required.
• Educated to degree level in English.
• Experience with English Language and Literature across 11-16.
• Experience using assessment for learning and creative pedagogies.
• Experience monitoring and using data to raise student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach English Language and Literature to 11-16 students.
• Contribute to and deliver strategies to raise progress and achievement in English.
• Deliver CPD for staff, both subject-specific and whole-school.
• Mark examinations and use data to inform school improvement.
• Use ICT to support teaching and learning.
• Develop engaging and innovative lessons to improve outcomes.
