Job summary

Emmaus Catholic and Church of England Primary School in Sheffield is seeking an Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour, Teaching & Learning) to lead positive change with the senior leadership team. The role focuses on elevating quality of education and behaviour.

You will be an outstanding classroom teacher with a reduced timetable, champion the dual-denominational ethos, and work with families and the St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust to drive academic and behavioural standards.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree-level qualification.
• Desirable: NPQSL or NPQH leadership qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership of Behaviour & Attitudes with a positive school culture.
• Instructional Leadership: Teaching & Learning, curriculum development, QA and coaching.
• Ethos leadership: uphold dual-denominational values and strong community links.
• Pupil progress: analyse data and implement inclusive interventions.
