As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher to join our close-knit team at Upton Grange School, part of Options Autism.
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher who is looking for the chance to bring innovation and creativity to inspire learning in an SEN environment for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions.
In partnership with our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide clear, authentic leadership to our multidisciplinary team, establish school aims and objectives, ensure high standards of quality and compliance, and develop individualized learning programs for our pupils.
We seek an Assistant Headteacher with the experience, leadership skills, and vision to build futures by empowering students to be happy and successful. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status, experienced in an SEN setting, enjoy leading a team, and be motivated to help every pupil reach their potential.

Upton Grange School caters to pupils aged 3-11, offering a range of teaching strategies to support learners with diverse needs. Our pupils are taught in smaller classes, working towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum standards where appropriate.
This opportunity is located in Slough, close to the rail station and within commuting distance of Maidenhead, Twickenham, and surrounding areas.
