Job summary

St Paul’s Catholic School in Milton Keynes is recruiting two Assistant Headteachers to join the Leadership Group from 1 January 2027. You will bring a track record of middle leadership, drive progress and contribute to whole-school leadership across roles including safeguarding.

We seek strategic leaders with implementation skills who can deliver projects to a successful conclusion and tailor leadership to the school's needs. Applications close 14 October 2026; interviews 20 October 2026.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit two Assistant Headteachers to join our established Leadership Grouphere at St Paul’s. The successful candidates will have an excellent track record of middle management, a thirst to drive progress and aspiration to contribute to the leadership of our successful school.We are seeking a strategic leader with implementation skills and the ability to see a project through to its effective conclusion.We are particularly looking for an ideal candidate who will possess the right combination of skills and leadership qualities to enhance our existing team.Leadership Group responsibilities at St. Paul’s are negotiated periodically according to the needs of the school and the talents and aspirations of the individual. We are therefore, seeking to appoint talented people who can offer skilled leadership across all aspects of school life. In the first instance, one position will certainly involve the leadership of our safeguarding team. If you are specifically interested in this role then please tailor your application accordingly.

This is a full time, permanent position available from 1st January 2027.
