Job summary

Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Manchester is seeking a dedicated pastoral support professional to place learners’ welfare at the heart of the school. You will build caring relationships with students and staff, delivering mental wellbeing and SEMH support as part of a supportive learning environment.

The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to speak to groups, and a commitment to creating inclusive, high-quality pastoral care within our Star Academies multi-academy trust.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*- C.
• Experience of working with young people in an education setting.
• Experience of providing Mental Wellbeing, SEMH, SEND or counselling support to students or young people.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to speak in front of large groups of students and small groups of staff.
