Job Description: Head of Individual Giving & Engagement, London

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000, dependant on experience

Location: Hybrid working 2 days per week in London

Are you a strategic and creative Individual Giving leader eager to advance your career? We are partnering with Tommy's to recruit a Head of Individual Giving & Engagement to lead an ambitious strategy aimed at growing the charity's supporter base. You will collaborate with a dynamic Marketing & Engagement team and broader Public Fundraising colleagues.

Tommy's is the UK's leading pregnancy charity, funding groundbreaking research to ensure safer pregnancies and providing accessible information and support. Over the past 30 years, they have influenced national healthcare guidelines, made significant progress in addressing pregnancy loss, and pushed for systemic change in maternity care to reduce health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and lead the individual giving strategy and budget, managing a team of two Individual Giving Managers to inspire action and increase donations.
  2. Implement successful supporter acquisition campaigns to expand the supporter base, emphasizing regular giving.
  3. Innovate and develop new products within the Individual Giving team based on audience insights and sector trends to acquire and retain supporters.
  4. Oversee authentic and impactful public fundraising campaigns, ensuring alignment with storytelling and brand messaging in collaboration with the Marketing and Public Fundraising teams.
  5. Lead the Legacy and In-Memory strategy, ensuring high-quality supporter journeys and stewardship to enhance lifetime supporter value.
Required Skills & Experience:
  1. Experience managing a multifaceted, £1M+ Individual Giving programme across various offline and digital channels.
  2. Proven success in increasing income from Individual Giving aligned with fundraising targets.
  3. Experience developing programmes through test-and-learn cycles, including product and campaign development.
  4. A confident, empathetic leader with experience inspiring and leading teams.
