The Goring is currently looking for a full timeAssistant Head Housekeeperto join an impeccably English Hotel. The Goring features 69 sumptuous suites and rooms, each uniquely decorated with the finest furnishings. As the last remaining family-owned luxury hotel in London, it is renowned for its warm, intimate atmosphere and personalised service.

The Goring is currently looking for passionate and hospitality focussed individuals to join our fantastic Housekeeping Team as our Assistant Head Housekeeper.

• To understand the operation of a 5* privately owned Hotel business and the importance of guest requirements that need to be fulfilled at all times.

•To be fully understand the Housekeeping operation and to efficiently manage the operation of all shifts in the absence of the Executive Head Housekeeper.

• To be actively involved in the operation of the department in terms of checking of guest bedrooms, public areas, back of house area

• To understand the training and development requirements for the department and to take a proactive approach in training employees in their responsibilities regarding Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Fire and Bomb Safety, Hygiene, COSHH and on the job training.

• To effectively deal with any guest enquiries and complaints and to be able to handle them in a professional and confident manner.

• To ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome, and assist them in a polite and helpful manner, address all guests in the correct manner with the correct title and tend to guests’ requirements promptly.

·Previous experience in a five-star hotel environment in a similar role

·Excellent attention to detail

·The passion to provide 5 star standards and go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our guests
