Full job description

Bicester Hotelare looking for anAssistantHead Housekeeperfull time 40 hours per week.

The role of the Assistant Head Housekeeper:

• To ensure profitable management of guest rooms, our health club and all communal areas within the hotel complex
• Lead and organise the Housekeeping team from Bedrooms, Spa & Public areas
• Supervise, guide and motivate Housekeeping Assistants and Supervisors on the job
• To ensure the environment is maintained in clean, safe and hygienic condition at all times
• Ensure COSHH and H&S is followed at all times
• Planning staff rotas in conjunction with events and reservations
• Organisation of staff training in accordance with employee needs and health and safety requirements
• To promote positive working relationships with the team and all colleagues throughout the hotel
• Management of expenditure and payroll costs in line with budgets
• Analyse guest feedback and identify ways to improve guest satisfaction

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a demanding housekeeping role
• Proven management experience 2 years minimum
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• A passion for providing the highest level of service
• Pro-active approach to work duties
