• Relevant teaching qualification and subject specialism.
• Experience of delivering good teaching and leading in further education.
• Experience of leading on cross-cutting themes such as student engagement, progress, assessment and IQA processes.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Institute in leadership and management of subject areas.
• Line manage a small team and carry out staff appraisals and performance management.
• Lead on teaching quality, learning and assessment across the faculty.
• Promote college aims, vision and strategic objectives.
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource planning.
• Analyse student data to identify improvements and implement interventions.
