PureGym in the UK is seeking an Assistant Gym Manager to lead a team and drive first-class member experiences. You will work alongside the Gym Manager to maintain high service standards, recruit and develop staff, and foster a positive, inclusive club environment.

The role involves supporting outreach, managing group exercise offerings, and delivering ongoing training. A passion for fitness and a genuine welcome to all will help you succeed in this hands-on leadership position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading gym staff and delivering excellent member service.
• L2 qualification in gym instructing required.
• Passion for fitness and wellbeing with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent member experience by upholding service standards with the Gym Manager.
• Support the Gym Manager to recruit new joiners and run outreach/community events.
• Lead and develop a team of Personal Trainers/Fitness Coaches and Gym Instructors.
• Provide ongoing training and professional development for staff.
• Manage and enhance Group Exercise (GEX) offerings.
• Create a positive, motivating work environment to grow membership.
