Job description
Responsibilities
  • Delivers project assistance to Quantity Surveyors.
  • Analyses construction cost information and reports findings, including negotiation.
  • Uses digital measurement software to undertake measurement exercises from detailed drawings.
  • Utilises and develops key project documents (Tender Reports, Cost Reports, etc.).
  • Prepares project‑specific Tender and Contract Documentation.
  • Maintains awareness of the different Building Contracts available and corresponding legislation.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying (minimum 2:1) and RICS accreditation preferred.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time‑management, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Commitment, enthusiasm, strong work ethic and a team‑player attitude.
  • Energetic and self‑motivated with the ability to meet client and manager deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel; excellent IT proficiency.
  • General knowledge of current industry developments.
Locations and Team

Offices in London, Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds. The role is in London working on retail and leisure projects with a large Quantity Surveying team, mentored by senior staff.
