Job summary

Everlast Gyms in Gloucester is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead club performance, drive sales, member experience and team development. You will support the General Manager, lead from the front and ensure high standards of service and operational excellence.

This hands-on leadership role offers progression within Frasers Group, development opportunities and a culture that rewards achievement. You will recruit, coach and develop colleagues, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with marketing

Qualifications

Leadership experience in fitness/leisure/retail.
Strong track record of leading teams to business results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commercial awareness with ability to influence performance.
Flexible working pattern including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Level 2 Fitness Qualification is required.
Experience in gym/health club or leisure environment.
Knowledge of membership sales, retention and fitness operations.

Responsibilities

Lead club performance alongside General Manager to deliver sales, member experience and operations.
Drive revenue streams including memberships and personal training.
Coach, develop and retain high-performing teams through regular feedback.
Support recruitment, onboarding and performance conversations.
Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to profitability and efficiency.
Ensure exceptional member service and a welcoming club environment.
Uphold safety, cleanliness and compliance standards.
