Job summary

The Blue Posts, a three-in-one hospitality operation in London’s Soho, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day activity across three distinct concepts: a lively pub, a refined wine bar, and a Michelin-starred counter dining room.

You will work closely with the General Manager to drive service standards, develop your team, and oversee commercial performance across all floors, balancing guest experience with operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Assistant General Manager, Bar Manager, Pub Manager or comparable senior leadership role
• A strong beverage background with knowledge of beer, wine and spirits
• Pub experience is highly desirable
• Proven experience leading and developing hospitality teams
• A natural and confident host who enjoys being in service
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good commercial awareness, including an understanding of labour, stock and cost control
• Curiosity, energy and ambition to develop into broader operational leadership
• A genuine love of hospitality in all its forms

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the three-floor building across pub, wine bar and Michelin-starred dining counter.
• Set and maintain service standards, coach teams and develop staff.
• Drive hospitality, support commercial performance and ensure smooth collaboration between floors.
• Lead and develop the teams, maintaining accountability and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Support General Manager in labour, stock, and operational efficiency.
