Job summary

Bridge in Barnes is seeking an ambitious Assistant General Manager or Deputy Manager to join the management team at our community pub, near Hammersmith Bridge. You will play a key leadership role as we refurbish and open a new chapter for the venue, stewarding elevated, seasonal pub food and warm hospitality.

You will lead by example on the floor, develop your team, build lasting relationships with regulars, and engage with the local community as we grow the business and deliver memorable guest

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant General Manager or Deputy Manager within hospitality.
• Loves being on the floor, leading by example and developing others.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Enjoys building lasting relationships with regulars and becoming part of the local community.
• Keen to develop themselves and their team.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the floor as a hands-on manager and role model.
• Drive guest experience and service standards to a premium level.
• Develop and coach team members to improve performance and career progression.
• Take ownership of key areas of the business and lead projects to grow the venue.

Looking for development? We serve fresh, seasonal food on a changing menuwritten in house and have a couple of rooms for overnight guests - so this is a great opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager to broaden their skillset working in a fresh-food, premium pub with rooms. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of key areas of the business who can take on projects as we look to grow the business.

This is an ideal role for someone who:

• Has previous experience as an Assistant or Deputy Manager within hospitality.
• Loves being onthe floor, leadingby example anddeveloping others.
