Role Overview:

The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial lawyer with a focus on technology, data privacy, data protection, and AI. The successful candidate will provide practical, business-focused legal advice to the company's global business and corporate services partners.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide legal support on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters for a global professional services organization.
• Advise on technology, data privacy, data protection, AI, and related matters; support day-to-day commercial and regulatory legal issues.
• Assist in managing compliance with relevant laws and regulations across jurisdictions and network policies.
• Support technology and risk management teams with legal guidance.
• Develop and implement governance policies, procedures, and playbooks.
• Review and advise on new services, solutions, and associated governance and legal issues.
• Manage external legal counsel in multiple jurisdictions efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Balance practical legal advice with risk management and compliance obligations.
• Deliver presentations and write articles on legal topics.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

About You:

• UK-qualified lawyer (or equivalent outside the UK) with significant law firm experience; in-house experience is a plus.
• Strong legal skills with the ability to handle complex legal and regulatory issues.
• Strategic risk management skills with quick issue identification and mitigation recommendations.
• Experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex files.
• Capable of balancing legal risk management with business growth.
• Self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced, global environment.
