Job summary

Compass Group UK&I in Oxford is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee Levy catering and service operations on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). You will ensure smooth kitchen and counter operations and help deliver exceptional food experiences, with opportunities for progression within a company investing in its people.

The role includes leading teams, managing inventories and budgets, and upholding the brand image across venues in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Liaising between the team and manager to continually exceed expectations.
• Motivating the team to stay focused and on task.
• Assisting the manager with inventories, budgets and action plans.
• Managing tills and processing payments.
• Training teams and leading from the front.
• Assisting with paperwork when required.
