Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Holiday Inn Reading-South

Position Overview

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the daily management of the food & beverage outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained. The role involves planning, organizing, and directing the overall Food & Beverage operations, administration, marketing, and promotion, with accountability for profitability and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain control measures for food & beverage costs, productivity, labor, and supplies in line with budgets.
• Carry out Duty Management shifts as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings to review progress towards business goals.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar, and room service.
• Communicate effectively with the Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef, Conference & Events Manager, and Operations Manager.

Candidate Profile

We seek a strong leader with interpersonal and training skills, excellent communication, service orientation, attention to detail, and team motivation abilities. Experience in controlling costs and managing operations is essential.
