Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Finance, this supervisory role is key to the success of the Finance function overall. Responsible for monitoring and challenging all costs and purchasing across the resort, to ensure key performance indicators are met and profits are maximized. Supervise daily the Goods Receiver/Yard Man, ensuring quality systems and procedures are maintained to required standards. Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met, in line with company SOPs, HACCP regulations, and general H&S. Assist the wider Finance function as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze the Food & Beverage Costs across multiple outlets
  • Review and audit F&B recipes and pricing
  • Undertake stock takes as required for Food, Beverage, and Retail (Golf & Spa)
  • Supervise the Goods Receiver/Yard Man, managing productivity and quality, and provide cover when off
  • Analyze and report stock variances to the Assistant Director of Finance and Heads of Departments
  • Review and generate reports on key cost areas for stakeholders
  • Maintain pricing and content of POS systems
  • Audit service delivery, spot check dishes, monitor buffet costs and wastage
  • Develop and review par stocks, ensuring adherence to limits
  • Support Managers in achieving budgeted costs of sales
  • Negotiate supplier contracts, evaluate bids, make recommendations, and secure approvals

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

  • At least 3 years in Purchasing or Cost Control in hospitality or F&B preferred
  • Experience in Finance/Accounting is essential
  • Experience with Micros Simphony is preferred
  • Proficient in POS systems and intermediate spreadsheets
  • Self-motivated, able to manage workload
  • Effective communicator across all levels
  • Organized, detailed-oriented
