Job summary

GXO is recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager for our site in Wellingborough. This role focuses on delivering business-focused reporting and insights into operational performance, including weekly costings, monthly accounts, forecasts, KPIs and balance sheet reconciliations.

The position is full-time with a hybrid pattern: 4 days on-site and 1 day from home, Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00. A salary of up to £40,000 per annum is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CIMA, ACCA or currently studying towards completion is highly desirable.
• Experience with financial reporting and KPI analysis is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly operational performance reporting for GXO and customers.
• Collaborate with on-site and central HR to resolve queries and manage over/under payments.
• Assist the Finance Manager in improving and developing reporting processes and procedures.
• Provide variance analysis with commentary to support management decisions.
