Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Wellingborough is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to deliver best-practice reporting and insights into operational performance, including weekly costings and monthly accounts.

This full-time, permanent role follows a hybrid arrangement (4 days on-site, 1 day home) with standard hours 08:30–17:00. ACCA/CIMA qualified or studying is desirable; Oracle experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• CIMA, ACCA or currently studying towards completion is highly desirable
• Knowledge of financial management systems and having experience of Oracle would be advantageous
• Experience with open book contracts is desirable
• Proven track record in successfully establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external customers

Responsibilities

• Preparation of weekly and monthly operational performance reporting for GXO and the customer
• Working with the on-site and central HR team to resolve queries, effective communication of issues and management of over or under payments
• Assist the Finance Manager in improving and developing reporting processes and procedures
• Provide variance analysis with adequate commentary and aid operational management in the interpretation of results
