This is a part-time maternity cover contract lasting a minimum of six months, with a commitment of three days per week, including one day based in our London office. The role is ideally suited to someone returning to work or seeking a flexible, part-time opportunity.

The Role:

As an Assistant Client Money Manager, you will support the management of client money processes, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations, particularly CASS5. This part-time position involves assisting with financial processes, audits, and the development of client money procedures. Collaborating with the Client Money Manager and other teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining operational accuracy and regulatory adherence.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer client money processes in line with FCA CASS5 regulations.
  • Assist in improving client money procedures and operating models.
  • Support the production and distribution of Client Money Management Information (MI).
  • Help resolve audit and regulatory review actions related to client money.
  • Perform client money calculations with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update client money policies in collaboration with the IBA team.
  • Assist with client money audits and maintain the central repository of CASS information.
  • Stay informed on regulatory standards and ensure processes align with requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally working towards or holding an accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Familiarity with FCA CASS5 rules and IBA processes is advantageous but not essential.
