Job summary

Ibstock Plc is seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner in Leicester to lead monthly management accounts, forecast and budget cycles, and cost control across divisions.

The role requires strong accounting qualifications (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), excellent analytical and Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. Manufacturing exposure is desirable, with a focus on cost and margin drivers.

Qualifications

• Qualified with CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience with management accounts and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and KPI insights.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets for all P&L elements and BSP.
• Review pricing including margin analysis.
• Monitor capital spend and project appraisals.
• Lead monthly review meetings with stakeholders to manage costs.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide training on good practice to factories.
• Implement financial controls across departments/sites.
• Respond to audit questions from Group and external auditors.
