Job summary

Alternative Futures Group is seeking an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the Management Accounts team. You will provide financial insight, drive reconciliation and control, and partner with budget holders to achieve targets.

The role supports month-end close, budgeting, and year-end processes while promoting best-practice finance practices and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounting/finance background.
• Experience with month-end close, accruals/prepayments and reporting.
• Ability to influence budget holders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and support to budget holders.
• Support month-end close timetable and accurate reporting.
• Assist with standardising processes and procedures across the team.
• Support annual budgeting and year-end accounts production.
• Deliver high quality management accounts and business partnering support.
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives with budget holders.
