Edge Careers is recruiting an Assistant Estimator on behalf of a well established construction contractor based in the Bedworth area, with projects across the industrial and commercial sectors.

You will work closely with a Senior Estimator, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full estimating process and developing your skills across a variety of projects. The role offers strong development potential and a clear path to progression.

Qualifications

• Could suit someone who is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor and is looking to move into estimating.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability.
• Keen to learn and develop within a supportive environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of tenders and estimates
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and other tender information
• Obtaining and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Assisting with cost plans and pricing
• Working closely with the wider pre‑construction team
• Developing your understanding of the full estimating process
• Supporting the team across a range of commercial and industrial projects
