American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking an Assistant Estimator or Estimator to join a London-based industry leader working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects across rail, airport, nuclear, defence, and energy sectors. Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering estimating and tendering.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other tender documentation.
• Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Supporting the development of labour, plant, materials and subcontractor costs.
• Contributing to tender submissions, cost plans and commercial reviews.
• Working closely with commercial, design, procurement and project delivery teams.
• Maintaining clear and accurate estimating records throughout the tender process.
• Supporting value engineering and identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
