Job summary

Escape Recruitment Services Ltd are supporting a fantastic Nottingham-based business recruiting for a Deputy Operations Manager to back the Area Manager across engineering operations, project delivery and customer relationships.

This hands-on role covers leading engineering teams, planning projects, managing costs and P&L, plus health and safety and NEC3 contractual requirements.

You'll bring an engineering degree or HND, prior leadership experience and a proactive, commercially aware approach.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, HND or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing skills.
• Knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
• Full UK driving licence.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineering Supervisor, Project Manager or Senior Engineer ready to take the next step into operational leadership?

I'm working with a fantastic business looking for a Deputy Operations Manager to support the Area Manager across engineering operations, project delivery, customer relationships and team leadership.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be involved in projects, people, customers, engineering solutions and commercial delivery rather than being stuck behind a desk.

I've worked closely with this business over the last 12 months as they've continued to grow and expand, successfully recruiting six people across different departments, all of whom are still with the business and have nothing but positive things to say about their experience.
