Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking an Assistant Educational Psychologist to join a supportive team delivering universal and targeted mental health and learning interventions for children and young people. Qualifications

• Hold a good degree in psychology and demonstrate experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Commitment to inclusion and improving life chances for young people and families.
• Willingness to engage in doctoral training applications for Educational Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Work with qualified EPs to support core and traded services, including early intervention in schools and settings.
• Deliver and support direct work with children and groups, including assessments and longer-term interventions.
• Contribute to PATHS, MeLSA, TAMHS, EBSA initiatives and staff training/coaching.
• Participate in research and evaluation activities for the service.
