Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking an Assistant Educational Psychologist to support qualified EPs, trainees and students in promoting inclusive practice and improved life chances for children and young people.

You will work on universal school offers, direct work with individuals and groups, and contribute to training, research and CPD, under supervision, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Good degree in psychology required.
• Experience working with children and young people, preferably in education.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of EPs, trainees and assistants to support inclusion and wellbeing.
• Deliver universal training and facilitate group work across schools.
• Support EPs with assessments and direct work with children and young people.
