Devon County Council’s Educational Psychology Service in Barnstaple, North and Mid Devon, invites applications for an Assistant Educational Psychologist. You will support statutory assessments, early interventions and preventative work within a thriving EP community.

The role emphasises collaboration with schools, families, and partners, and offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with opportunities for professional development and a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant educational psychology qualifications.
• Must hold a full current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Assist and support the delivery of Educational Psychology activities, including statutory assessments, early intervention and preventative work.
• Support EP Service to provide high-quality traded and core psychological services to schools and settings, working with children, families and partners.
• Contribute to EHCP needs assessments by supporting EPs with Joint Assessment Meetings and pre-populating reports.
• Participate in psychological assessment processes through observations, interviews, and producing written reports.
