JB Site Investigations, part of the RSK Group, is seeking an Assistant Driller in Berwick-upon-Tweed, UK. Join a supportive, experienced team focused on quality and health & safety as we work across the UK.

The role involves outdoor work across the UK, assisting Lead Drillers, performing general labouring duties, and handling samples. A full UK driving licence is essential; CSCS is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach with a focus on delivering results.
• Be reliable and have good time-keeping skills.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and also able to work independently.
• Be able to carry out physically challenging tasks.
• Able to follow strict industry health and safety standards.
• A CSCS Card is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work outdoors across the UK at various locations (overnight stays may be required, expenses paid).
• Assist Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites nationwide.
• Carry out general labouring duties (fences, reinstatement, deliveries, sample pits).
• Assist with manual handling and site equipment training.
• Support warehouse tasks.
• Opportunities to work with different rig types.

part of the RSK Group have an exciting new opportunity! Due to the continued growth of our team, we have a vacancy for an Assistant Driller to join our team based in Berwick Upon Tweed, UK. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a supportive and experienced team that focuses on quality and H&S. We work all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations.

Responsibilities

• Working outside throughout the year in varying locations around the UK (staying away is often required; all expenses paid)
• Assisting Lead Drillers in our Drilling Department on sites all over the UK ranging from inner-city to countryside locations
• Undertaking general labouring duties e.g., erecting fences, general reinstatement, delivery of consumables, hand dug inspection pits and collection of samples
• Manual handling and moving heavy items, plus training in the use of some site equipment and plant
• Assisting with tasks in the Warehouse
• Opportunities to work on all of our rig types

About You

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
