Job summary

Structural Soils in Castleford, UK, is seeking an Administrator to join the team, supporting engineers, project managers and senior leaders to keep projects running smoothly.

You’ll gain experience in project administration, finance, procurement and commercial processes while supporting a wide range of projects across the UK. The role offers responsibility, variety and the opportunity to develop a long-term career within a growing RS K Group.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Administration experience preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administration support to a team of engineers and senior management, including invoicing, couriers, typing, data entry, correcting and formatting
  • Provide financial support to projects and project managers, including project set-up, raising purchase orders, preparing invoices and financial reporting
  • Hiring of equipment for engineering and drilling projects, including dealing with supplier representatives and maintaining company hire records
  • Act as central point of contact for engineers working out of the office and maintain a safe arrival system
  • Prepare electronic and hard copy reports for distribution to clients and management reports for team leaders
  • Set up and maintain project and tender files, both electronic and hard copy and undertake filing/archiving
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post, answer phones, arrange catering for meetings and other general office duties
  • Ordering and checking stock levels of PPE
  • In addition to your normal duties, you may occasionally be required to undertake additional work necessary to meet the needs of the business, without additional remuneration.

Key Responsibilities
