Job summary

EY-Parthenon is seeking an Assistant Director to join our Strategy and Execution team, advising clients across private equity, digital and telecoms on M&A strategies and transaction execution.

You’ll lead cross‑functional teams, manage pitches, support origination, and guide both buy‑ and sell‑side mandates through the entire transaction lifecycle, from pre‑deal diligence to integration planning, while developing junior staff and contributing to practice development.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional services/consulting with transactions focus (due diligence, carve-out or integrations).
• Broad knowledge of IT functions: enterprise architecture, governance, systems integration, application development.
• Experience with Private Equity and senior IT stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assistorigination with pitches and client meetings in a transaction environment.
• Lead blended project teams across transactions and advisory practices.
• Deliver engagements including technology due diligence, carve-out planning, post‑deal integration and value creation.
• Lead on business origination using networks and delivery of pitches to senior clients.
• Develop practice initiatives and training programmes, supporting a collaborative culture.
