Job summary

Hyatt Regency And Hyatt House Manchester is seeking an Assistant Director of Sales to support the Director of Sales in leading the Sales & Events team across both properties. You will drive revenue, develop client relationships and maximise profitability through proactive business development.

We are looking for proven hotel sales leadership with strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of guiding the team to achieve individual and departmental targets in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel sales, events or commercial leadership.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Lead and manage Group Sales, Event Sales and Planning across both hotels.
• Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and business development.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies and partners.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking and client engagement.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams to maximise performance.
• Coach and develop the Sales team to achieve objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to strengthen market position.

Assistant Director of Sales at Hyatt Hotels Manchester – Join Our Dynamic Commercial Team!

As Assistant Director of Sales, you will support the Director of Sales in leading the Sales & Events team and driving commercial success across both Hyatt Regency Manchester and Hyatt House Manchester. You will play a key role in generating revenue, developing client relationships and maximising profitability across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Group Sales, Event Sales and Planning activities across both hotels.
• Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and business development activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event organisers, universities and key business partners.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and client engagement.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams to maximise total hotel performance.
• Coach, develop and inspire the Sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen market position.

• Has proven experience in hotel sales, events or commercial leadership.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills.
• Is highly organised with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
