Job summary

EY-Parthenon in London or regional offices (Manchester, Bristol or Scotland) seeks a Senior Assistant Director to lead local and regional government advisory work, delivering strategic, financial and commercial guidance on infrastructure projects. You will build and manage complex programmes, develop financial models, influence clients and drive business development while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Understanding of local and regional government dynamics.
• Knowledge of regeneration, devolution and financial resilience.
• Ability to manage multi-workstream projects within budget.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial, commercial and strategic advice to clients on transactions and policy projects.
• Deliver and manage complex projects and programmes of work.
• Build and work with financial models and conduct sensitivity analyses.
• Create business cases with economic and financial evaluation.
• Support clients to achieve financial sustainability.
• Present impactful reports to senior stakeholders for decision making.
• Drive business development and contribute to EY growth strategies.
• Lead origination and sales activities.
• Contribute to sector thought leadership and EY perspectives on policy.
• Build senior client relationships across local authorities and wider partners.
• Coach junior team members.
