Job summary

Kurt Geiger's Carvela division seeks a creative Designer to contribute to premium accessories across shoes and bags. You will sketch, develop technical drawings, and produce detailed specs using Illustrator and Photoshop, working closely with the Buying Team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand standards.

We value imagination, high-quality output under tight deadlines, and the ability to generate fresh ideas for best sellers.

• Sketch and complete detailed technical drawings using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Support Designer in working closely with the Buying Team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements.
• Support Designer in developing customer and market-focused collections.
• Sketch and complete detailed technical drawings using Illustrator and Photoshop as relevant.
• Produce detailed specs and design modifications.
• Display excellent attention to detail.
• General administration and keeping samples organised for meetings.

• Constantly research trends, new materials, trims, and colour palettes and show understanding of how they can be applied to the collections

• Competitor product research

• Support your Designer in working closely with the Buying Team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements

• Support your Designer in developing customer and market-focused collections

• Sketch and complete detailed technical drawings (using Illustrator and Photoshop as relevant)

• Produce detailed specs and design modifications

• Display excellent attention to detail

• General administration

• Keeping samples organised and displaying the collection for meetings.

• Maintain a sample tracker throughout the development process

• Work effectively with suppliers to ensure the design critical path is adhered to at all times

• Develop excellent relationships with other relevant Head Office departments

• Any other tasks which are deemed as reasonable responsibilities by your Line Manager
