Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join the Places Design Practice, focusing on defence and technology sectors. You will guide internal and external design teams, coordinating with procurement, planners, environmental, construction and operations teams to meet client scope, budgets, resources and timescales.

Strong stakeholder engagement and digital design leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

Experience in Defence or Technology sectors is desirable.
Chartered or equivalent accreditation is recommended.
Experience in Design Management within a client/consultancy environment is desirable.
Excellent written English and technical report writing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Work with the Arcadis Project Manager to achieve the required client outcome.
Manage technical delivery and integration of multi-disciplinary design projects.
Drive high-quality design decisions through collaboration, challenge, innovation and delivery excellence.
Understand PM concepts, tools and techniques.
Use interpersonal and influencing skills to support successful outcomes.
Adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic project environment.
Plan and implement solutions for multi-discipline engineering challenges.
