Howdens Joinery is seeking an Assistant Depot Manager to support the Depot Manager in driving sales, leading a hands-on team and delivering excellent customer service at the depot. You will contribute to growth targets, build strong local trade relationships and help shape the depot’s performance through coaching and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Depot Manager in day-to-day depot operations.
• Build relationships with local trade customers.
• Lead and develop the team to improve performance.
• Oversee sales, customer service, warehouse and stock.
• Review performance and drive sales against targets.
• Promote the full range of products and services.
• Deputise for Depot Manager when needed.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the depot.
