Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking an Assistant Cook to work 25 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 9am–2pm, on a permanent term-time basis. You will support the Cook Supervisor, ensure high standards of food quality, and cover in their absence.

NVQ 2 in Catering or City & Guilds 706/2 is required; Basic Hygiene certificate is desirable. You will join a team focused on delivering a quality catering service with attention to detail, flexibility, and reliable customer care.
