Job summary

Salford is seeking an Assistant Cook Supervisor for a fixed-term, term-time role. You will work 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, supporting the Cook Supervisor and ensuring high standards of catering and customer service.

Experience in supervisory roles within a commercial kitchen is essential, along with NVQ 2 in Catering or City & Guilds 706/2. A Basic Hygiene certificate is desirable.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a commercial environment.
• NVQ 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/2 in Catering.
• Basic Hygiene certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook Supervisor and cover in their absence.
• Maintain a high standard of food presentation and customer care.
• Support delivery of a quality catering service during term-time hours.
