Job summary

Bovis is recruiting an Assistant Commercial Manager to join our Public Sector team on a major MoD build project in Stafford as part of the Defence Estate Optimisation Portfolio. You will assist commercial and financial elements on high-value projects through pre-construction, delivery and final accounts stages.

The role requires an understanding of NEC/JCT contracts, a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, and the ability to manage commercial risk while maintaining strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Completed degree and gaining experience during the postgraduate period.
• Professional construction qualifications relevant to the role or experience.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the financial and commercial interests of the company by managing and controlling commercial risk, income and expenditure.
• Contribute to the delivery of the project in a timely, efficient, sustainable and safe manner whilst achieving commercial targets.
• Meet client expectations and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
