Eden Brown is recruiting an Assistant Commercial Manager in Central London to support the commercial delivery of high-profile fit-out projects. The role offers exposure to CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B works and a clear potential pathway toward a Commercial Manager position.

You will work with senior leaders across procurement, forecasting and cost control, gaining responsibility from day one in a growing, reputable contractor renowned for complex schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Experience within the fit-out, refurbishment or design & build sectors.
• Knowledge of JCT forms of contract.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the commercial delivery of CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B fit-out projects across London.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Preparing and reviewing subcontract orders.
• Managing valuations, variations and change control.
• Assisting with project forecasting and cost reporting.
• Supporting monthly CVR reporting processes.
• Managing subcontractor payments and accounts.
• Assisting with risk and opportunity management.
• Supporting final account negotiations and project close-out.
• Working closely with project, design and operational teams throughout delivery.

A leading London-based design & build specialist is seeking an ambitious Assistant Commercial Manager to join its growing commercial team.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior commercial leadership, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to final account. You'll gain exposure to high-profile design & build schemes and be given genuine responsibility from day one, with a clear pathway towards Commercial Manager level.

This position would suit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, or an established Assistant Commercial Manager looking to join a highly respected fit-out contractor with strong growth plans.
