Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Clinical Technologist to join the Clinical Engineering and Measurement Group within the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering. This Band 4 role covers the life cycle of medical devices, including testing, repairs and preventative maintenance across OUH sites.

The successful candidate will be computer literate, well organised and able to manage workload with care for patient safety.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English, Maths, and a Science subject.
• Some work-based experience.
• Experience of computer literacy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the life cycle of medical devices, including testing and maintenance.
• Support administrative duties and Equipment Library when required.
• Work across OUH sites as needed.
• Liaise with clinical staff to plan maintenance.
