Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 4 Assistant Clinical Technologist for the Clinical Engineering and Measurement Group. You will be involved in the life cycle of medical devices, including testing, maintenance and support across OUH sites.

The role requires good communication, strong organisation, attention to detail and computer literacy. A chance for progression within Clinical Science and related apprenticeships is available.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English, Maths and a Science.
• Experience in a Healthcare or Customer Service environment is desirable.
• Good IT skills and ability to use computer systems.
• Holder of British driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the full life cycle of medical devices, including acceptance testing and repair.
• Provide technical input to administrative duties and equipment records.
• Support the Equipment Library and liaise with service providers.
• Work across OUH sites as required.
