Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) through the Camden Learning Disabilities Service (CLDS) invites applications for a psychology support role. The post holder will assist in psychological assessment and interventions under supervision, working across CLDS and the Alexandra Centre.

You will contribute to audits, data collection, and service development, attend team meetings, and help maintain clinical databases in line with governance and policy.

Qualifications

• Under supervision of a qualified psychologist, assist in psychological assessment using psychometric tests and interviews.
• Assist in the formulation and delivery of psychological interventions and care plans under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in psychological assessment of people referred to the service.
• Support coordination and running of therapeutic programmes (including Positive Behavioural Support) within Alexandra College.
• Help develop and deliver training and educational sessions related to the service.
• Assist in data collection, audits, and research projects for service development.
