Our property claims team manages and resolves claims for our customers, working closely together to bring claims to resolution through collaboration with the practice leader, underwriting team, brokers, clients, and experts, taking ownership of critical issues.
This role supports the Property Claims Manager in managing the UK & Lloyd’s Property claims portfolio and overseeing direct reports across different locations. You will lead your team to meet technical and quality service levels, manage workload, provide technical oversight and coaching, and drive files to resolution for optimal outcomes.
You will collaborate with claims leadership, handlers, underwriting counterparts, actuaries, legal, brokers, and clients. Maintain reporting and controls delegated by the Property Claims Manager, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrate AXA XL values at all times.
Based in London and/or Ipswich, this role requires travel between locations. Our hybrid working model combines remote and office work.
Education: ACII or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential.
Experience: Significant property claims experience, knowledge of delegated authority arrangements, Lloyd’s standards, conduct risk, legal entities, and global claims handling. Experience in leading teams and implementing market initiatives.
