Assistant Claims Manager - Motor - Personal Injury
Location: Ipswich, UK
As an Assistant Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small claims team within the motor claims department and providing support to the Motor Claims Manager in the day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, and managing a caseload of personal injury claims. You will lead by example, delivering technical expertise and audit excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.
Your responsibilities will include managing complex claims, guiding and developing team members, overseeing external vendor relationships, working with underwriting and legal teams, and contributing to strategic initiatives. You will ensure high-quality customer service, compliance with standards, and effective resource management. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, along with experience in motor claims, especially personal injury.
