We are currently looking for a passionate Assistant Chief Steward, to join our Stewarding Department on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. As an Assistant Chief Steward, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
  • To issue to and ensure that departments have the correct supply of cutlery, crockery and silver for use at all times.
  • To ensure that all staff have been fully trained in the use of all equipment and machinery, and following policies/legal requirements.
  • Check cleaning quality vs standard set for all areas of responsibilities.
  • To ensure all members of the team are achieving their daily tasks and assist the Deputy Chief steward in any additional tasks required for the operation
  • Spot check that daily safety checklists are being completed in all implemented areas and action where necessary.
  • Experience in managing a large team gained from an hotel background.

You will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil their duties and, in any event, not less than hours.
