At Sloane is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join its luxury Chelsea hotel. In this role you will support the Chief Engineer in overseeing engineering and maintenance functions, ensuring the property and systems are kept to the highest standards and operational for guests.

You will lead by example, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, and working closely with Front Office, Housekeeping and F&B to protect guest comfort and safety in a hands-on, solutions-focused manner.

Competenze

• Previous experience in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of building systems and maintenance.
• Experience supervising colleagues and coordinating maintenance priorities.
• Strong health and safety practices and maintenance documentation.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Engineering qualifications or technical certifications are advantageous.

Mansioni

• Support the Chief Engineer in day-to-day operations and deputise when required.
• Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across guest areas and building systems.
• Prioritise requests, investigate faults and coordinate timely solutions with minimal guest disruption.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify maintenance needs and communicate progress.
